Founding a tradition at UC Merced

This post marks the beginning of the founding graduate students' blog in the UC Merced's social and cognitive science program.  The intentions are to facilitate collaboration and sharing of ideas, and can certainly be extended to fun things to do in the Central Valley.

The title is a spoof on Pinker's book, The Language Instinct, if that wasn't obvious.   Feel free to make requests to change it as it only took me 15 minutes of thinking and a thesaurus to come up with.   Also, I am not a graphic designer or web designer, so this blog has a very generic look.   If anyone is gifted in these areas please make changes to the template.

By using the atom feed we won't have to use mass emails to keep in touch this summer.  In firefox you can click on the live bookmarking icon on the right side of the address field.  I’ve also added the link in the sidebar.  If you haven't tried Netvibes yet I would recommend trying it, and adding the atom feed to your content.
